The Streamer is based on a modular machine concept marked by a high flexibility and excellent accessibility. The individual feeders are designed as interchangeable system suited to be separately equipped with a vertical sheet feeder, card gluer, block feeder or similar devices. The new dynamic-drive technology allows disconnecting the drive of the feeders as well as the transport channel. The combination of a shock-free product transfer from magazine into transport channel on an even level and the products’ being accelerated in running direction ensures a high production performance. A gentle product handling is likewise guaranteed. Due to the changed running direction – from left to right – the ‚right-hand brochure page’, highly favoured for advertising purposes, is easily accessible in the machine. This way further finishing processes as e.g. affixing of cards and CDs can be integrated. With the Winspector we provide, first time, a high-performance camera system for a combined print image recognition and barcode reading which ensures a nearly faultless miss-fed-sheet recognition, even in case of difficult products. The Winspector is a self-learning system which is automatically activated during the machine setup, identifying the best position for image recognition. First time Wohlenberg provides a stacker pile delivery. Particular feature are the servo-controlled drop boards. A minimized transfer height guarantees a gentle product handling.
