Koenig & Bauer, the world's oldest press manufacturer, has been based in the Franconian university city of Wuerzburg since 1817.
Alongside KBA has the holding company of the Koenig & Bauer Group, the business units KBA Digital & Webfed and KBA Banknote Solutions are also located here.

Radebeul, Germany

Koenig & Bauer in Radebeul near Dresden is the Koenig & Bauer Group’s largest business unit. It is responsible for the development, manufacture, assembly, sales and after-sales service of all Rapida sheetfed offset presses. This is in addition to digital sheetfed presses for packaging printing and peripheral systems relating to finishing/converting. Koenig & Bauer Industrial also produces parts in Radebeul for our presses and external customers.

Bielefeld- Germany

The branch office in Bielefeld run by Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions is a design centre for optical quality control systems located close to the universities and colleges. The systems developed here include NotaSave colour-inspection systems for security presses and QualiTronic for Rapida sheetfed presses.

Frankenthal- Germany

  Albert-Frankenthal GmbH mainly manufactures rotationally symmetrical parts, such as printing rollers, for the Koenig & Bauer Group. Alongside the development and service of high-performance folders, Koenig & Bauer FT Engineering GmbH is a specialist provider of technologically challenging engineering services.

Moedling- Austria

Koenig & Bauer in Moedling, near Vienna, produces banknote and security presses, and provides respective services for its users. Its business association with the Wuerzburg parent company dates back to the early 20th century.

Stuttgart- Germany

Koenig &Bauer MetalPrint GmbH in Stuttgart provides a one-stop service including entire multicolour printing like the MetalStar 3 and the Mailänder 280 and coating lines for the metal packaging industry as well as innovative drying technology.

Veilshochheim- Germany

Based in Veitshöchheim, near Würzburg, Koenig & Bauer Coding manufactures analogue and digital coding and marking systems (inkjet, laser, hot stamping, thermal transfer) for various industrial applications. Its coding systems are commonly integrated into production and packaging lines. In addition Koenig & Bauer Coding GmbH provides after-sales services for the UV printing systems for smart cards, film and electronic data storage devices delivered by KBA MetalPrint.

Lohne- Germany

Koenig & Bauer Kamman GmbH in Löhne, Germany, is the global market leader in presses for the direct decoration of premium quality glass and plastic containers for the cosmetic and food industries. Along with systems for the dominant screen printing process, the company has now developed hybrid systems featuring digital inkjet printing solutions.

Dobruska- Czeche

Koenig & Bauer Grafitec in Dobruška, near Hradec Králové, manufactures half-format sheetfed offset presses as well as further parts for internal and external customers from the printing industry and other industries.

Tavazzano- Italy

Koenig & Bauer Italian subsidiary Koenig & Bauer Flexotecnica  in Tavazzano, near Milan, develops, assembles, distributes and services cutting-edge CI flexo presses for printing on paper, film and other flexible packaging materials.

Barcelona-Spain

Koenig & Bauer Iberica with headquarters in Barcelona, has been a 100% subsidiary of the Koenig & Bauer Group since mid-2016.

With more than 70 employees, the location is responsible for the developement, production, sales and service of medium- and large-format flat-bed die-cutters for board and corrugated packaging.
