Noortec Company Profile
Noortec Company established on 1991 to sell its service & support to Iran pre-press market and it’s digital systems such as different kinds of image setters. From the beginning, our slogan was “Success is Knowledge; we guarantee your success via our knowledge”. Although there were strong competitors in the market, Noortec could achieve customers’ trust and became the most creditable company in the market. In 2002, our credit led us to be the “Exclusive Sales Agency of CREO in Middle-East Region” - the most successful company in producing prepress machines at that time-. We started to sell and install several prepress machines of creo such as Computer to Plates (CTPs) (Magnus, Trendsetter, Trendsetter NEWS, Trendsetter VLF, Magnus VLF, Thermoflex), Digital Halftone Proofing (Matchprint), Inkjet Proofing (Veris), Professional Scanners (iQsmart), Softwares and Workflows (Preps, Pandora, Prinergy Connect, Prinergy Evo). The market share of Noortec in prepress touched 66% in 2004. After the acquisition of Creo by Kodak Company in 2005, we continued our business on mentioned products under the name of Kodak. It was our outstanding effort and services of our “After-Sale Department” that led us to introduce Creo-Kodak in Iran and other countries in the region as the leader of prepress market. It was in Drupa 2004 that Koenig&Bauer- KBA Company - the leader of sheet-fed offset machines in the market- announced Noortec as its “Exclusive Sales Agent in Iran” and in only two years after, we could successfully install 12 x brand new sheet-fed offset machines in our customers’ sites. It was a big surprise for KBA people when they realized that our market share raised to 65% after this short period. In Drupa 2008 and also in IPEX 2010, Noortec won the second place of sales amount between all dealers and agencies of KBA from all around the world. Since we already had customers in binding and packaging industry, Noortec started its activity in post-press market too. Today, we are official sales agent of Wohlenberg- Germany, BOBST- Switzerland and Inramik- Spain. With this variety of suppliers and technologies, we can help our customers in a wide range of products, such as gatherer, binder, trimmer, splitter, gluer and etc. In 2009, based on our customers’ requests and needs, we decided to support them with the total solution. So we developed the “Consumables Department”. In this moment, we are proud to announce that we have more than 200 customers in different fields of printing industry such as offset print houses, lithographic & pre-press centers, digital designers and printers, binding and finishing centers. We do this great job by our team of 40 professionals in sales, marketing, financial and after-Sales service departments. Noortec organizational objectives have concentrated on customer trust and support them properly, and in one sentence: "Printing technology improvement in Iran" We believe that above mentioned objectives have already been reached. But this success has defined several new significant goals to achieve. Noortec Main Activities
Consumables Department After installation of the newest technologies in prepress and print machines, and also in order to support our customers, we faced with a new challenge in consumables field when we started to provide high quality consumables for our old customers. There were a lot of different names and brands in the market available, and it is the end user who is tolerating the direct and indirect costs of using low quality consumables such as limited shelf-time, material waist and so on. So, we help printing houses to obtain the best quality of production, using the best technology and also standard materials. The list of our consumables in this department is given as follows:
After-Sales Service Department Our After-Sales team brilliant efforts and knowledge helped Noortec to be known as one of the best technical supporter companies in customers point of view based on the last assessment. Our commitment for 2011 is to be “The Number One After-Sales Service” in the market. -Site Preparation and Installation Our experienced technicians in “Site Preparation Team” prepare the customer site according to suppliers’ standards and recommendations to optimize the process of installation. This team starts its activity immediately after receiving the sales contract. Responsibilities of this team are designing layouts to optimize the space usage, technical consultation guidelines such as foundation, energy consumption and figure out necessary accessories and so on. This team supports the new customer until the end of installation process and at the end of the process; they should confirm the proper operation and working situation of all installed machines. - Customer Training One of the most important tasks to do for our after sales service team is training the customer to make sure that they can operate and work with new machines in the best way. We believe that good training prevents many problems and decreases down time of machines and finally guarantees the customer’s benefits. We have predicted all training needs of our customer in our “Customer Training Team” and their mission is going to be started, right after installation. Meanwhile, we have some special training under the name of “Quality Control Training” which includes Color Management Concepts, QC Tools and Calibration. We also provide technical seminars and trainings with cooperation of the best experts of KBA, Kodak, Wohlenberg, Inramik and Glunz&Jensen for our technicians and customers’ operators. - Service and Maintenance Our young but well-experienced team in this section includes 16 technicians in different fields. Our “Prepress Team” includes 4 technicians working on CTPs, Digital printers, Scanners and related Softwares. Our “Press Team” includes 4 electrical technicians, 4 mechanical technicians and 2 operators. Our “Post-Press Team” includes 2 technicians. We offer several kind of service contracts that can help the customers to choose one according to their needs and budget. - Noortec Service Plans (contracts)
